Easter United Celebration

Be there for the Gold Coast's very first Easter United Celebration Event!

Easter Sunday April 1st 2018
4:30pm – 7:30pm
HOTA Home of the Arts

Join us at the brand new HOTA Home of the Arts outdoor stage on Easter Sunday as churches from across the Gold Coast unite to lead this unprecedented Easter celebration for our city.

Taking place just two days before the Commonwealth Games launches, we will be welcoming Games athletes, officials and volunteers from around the world as our guests for a very special Easter Sunday event.

Proudly presented by Juice1073 and the Gold Coast City Council, Easter United will commence at 4.30pm with a traditional blessing service followed by pre-show entertainment from 5pm as we get ready for the main celebration program to kick off from 6pm.

Come early to enjoy some great food from the food trucks and entertainment from great local artists, and grab yourself a spot on the grassy hill (or your picnic rug or chair if you are so inclined!).

Whatever you do – make sure you book your ticket early as space is strictly limited and you don’t want to miss this!

Tickets $5 per person
 with children under 3 free.

You will need to create a HOTA account when booking if you do not already have one.

Support Easter United with a financial contribution!

Parking & Transport

There is very limited parking available at HOTA Home of the Arts, so the best and most efficient way to get to the event is via the two Park and Ride locations with FREE shuttle buses running to and from the venue before and after the event.  When booking tickets, simply select your preferred Park and Ride location.

For those who are unable to take advantage of the FREE park & ride,  we recommend you car pool with three or more people and arrive early.  Once parking is full, you will need to seek other arrangements which are very limited nearby.

This is an outdoor event, so we recommend you come prepared based on the weather.

The venue is an outdoor amphitheatre, so picnic rugs and low picnic chairs are permitted and may make your experience more comfortable.

Prohibited Items

For safety and comfort of others, umbrellas are prohibited.  A range of other prohibited items will not be permitted at the venue.

Food & Drink

A selection of food and drink will be available from food vans on site from 2:30pm.  Alcohol is prohibited.
