Exercise is something many people do for fun and on Sunday that is exactly what Gen Physio did for a good cause – Move It for MS.
Allied Health Operations Manager, Briana, explains that in Australia 23,000 people have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
“Regular exercise can help manage many of the symptoms and decrease the effects of physical inactivity,” she said.
To show support for families and people effected by MS this will be Gen Physio’s first Move It for MS Family Fun day which will include fun and interactive lawn games and stretching sessions with the Physiologists.
“A large number of [the physiologists] clients actually have MS so they are exposed to it and see the impacts that this has to their everyday life and its very nice that a few of them themselves have decided to do the Moonlight Walk,” Briana said.
Moonlight Walk for MS is happening October 15th, to find out more go to Gen Physio.
