What will happen? And when will it happen?

If you’ve been asking these questions, you’re not alone.

Best-selling author and pastor Max Lucado has been asking these questions too. He caught up with Laura Bennett for UNDISTRACTED.

“I’ve always had an interest in the study of what the Bible says about how this world will be wrapped up,” Max said and explained that he believes the culmination of this world is more relevant than ever.

Max Lucado believes the culmination of this world is more relevant than ever.

His zeal for eschatology is not merely academic but personal, driven by concerns over present-day global issues, such as conflicts around the world.

It’s also deeply spiritual.

“I begin to get increasingly curious,” he said.

“I’m just fascinated – I really, really want to know what’s about to happen.”

Max Lucado’s latest book, ‘What Happens Next: A Traveler’s Guide to the End of the Age’, delves into the concept of the end times and provides a scriptural exploration of biblical prophecy.

His aim is not to instill fear but to prepare believers by demystifying these complex prophecies. Max encourages Christians to delve into these topics to find reassurance and deeper faith.

“As we do our part and open our bibles, God does His part, and He opens our hearts to receive teaching about what is about to happen.”

“I do believe that the Bible teaches us about end times to prepare us, not to scare us,” he said.

“So, as we do our part and open our bibles, God does his part, and he opens our hearts to receive teaching about what is about to happen.

“We don’t have to face the future with fear.

“We can face the future with faith.”

Max Lucado’s message is clear: the study of the end times is not about pinpointing exact dates or fear-mongering; it’s about fostering a hopeful, faithful, and proactive Christian life while awaiting the fulfillment of God’s promises.
