This week on The Punchline, host Revered Jim Raistrick from Surfers Paradise Anglican Church is joined by Deborah Candler, author of “Framed – Settling the Gender Agenda” and Ps Bianca Serratore from Fire Church to discuss how women pastors and leaders handle the Bible verses addressing the role of women.
In this episode, the team discuss egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is the idea that people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities. Is that what the Bible says is the case and, as Christian women leaders, how do Deborah and Bianca read and understand the Bible verses that seem to directly state that the role of church leadership is not for women.
