This week on The Punchline, Reverend Jim Raistrick, from Surfers Paradise Anglican, discusses the joys and the challenges of work as a chaplain.
In season 2, episode 13 of The Punchline, Rev Jim is joined by local chaplains, Kerry Lovell and Leah Kahika. Chaplains work in a number of spaces including schools, the police, sports teams, aged care and more.
Their role is to provide support, especially to the emotional and spiritual needs of the environments in which they work. Jim, Kerry and Leah discuss the joys and the challenges of work as a chaplain, including handling the tough questions, evangelism and the importance of integrity and trustworthiness.
The Punchline, hosted by Rev Jim Raistrick from Surfers Paradise Anglican Church and explores some of life’s big questions from different perspectives.
