Many people go to the gym to gain strength and exercise, however, members of Club Active will be using the treadmill for a different cause on Wednesday September 22nd.

Events Manager of Club Active, Belinda, explains they are excited to be supporting the Prostate Cancer for Australia’s 72km Long Run with their 12 hour Treadmill Challenge.

“With a number of members having been touched directly by prostate cancer or having loved ones affected, its our pleasure to facilitate an opportunity for them to participate,” she said.

They will have 1 dedicated treadmill that will be kept going from 6.30am until 6.30pm with all participants having the opportunity to be dressed in blue.

“We’re gonna make it a fun day. We’re going to be dressing up in blue so we’ll have prizes for best dressed and a prize for most kilometres contributed,” Belinda said.

Club Active’s 12 hour Treadmill Challenge is happening on Wednesday 22nd September to find out more go to Club Active.
