The Little Store is an environmentally friendly shop owned and run by Tatiana, who also runs a free story and craft time every Wednesday for young families.
Over the last 4 years the group has grown from 1 family to 50-80 people.
“I want to be able to reach as many people in the community as possible, every Wednesday morning I read a thought-provoking story […] and we sing nursery rhymes,” she said.
During Covid last year Tatiana had to close her store, however she continued her regular story and craft time for children through her Instagram page.
“I kept reading but I did it live on Instagram at the same time at the same place, and I also realised they [the children] loved craft and they were in lockdown, what I did was delivered free craft packs locally. Last year, during Covid I delivered nearly 600 craft packs into the community,” Tatiana said.
The Little Store includes products for the kitchen, arts and crafts and children’s books and is located 2 Village Way, Currumbin Valley or you can head to her website The Little Store.
