Last year during Covid, Media Marketer Aldwyn Altuney, created the Global Good News Challenge on Social Media to help those struggling through Covid.
The Challenge encourages people to share 3 things they are grateful for and some good news through a Facebook Live or a video.
“The whole point was to help inspire people to share more gratitude and news with world and to lift the energy on the planet,” Aldwyn said.
She explains that gratitude helps improve physical and psychological health, helps you to sleep better, improves self-esteem and increases mental health.
Aldwyn also has a Good News Day on the 8th of August where people are welcome to share good news stories and things they are grateful for through video.
“They say if a photo is worth a thousand words a video is worth a million words,” she said.
The next monthly Global Good News challenge will be from the 7th until the 12th of June.
If you want to be apart of this challenge or find out more go to the Global Good News Challenge on Facebook.
Our new Good News segment highlights acts of kindness, achievements and amazing stories from local charities to the more personal accomplishments of local Gold Coasters.
