Mission Educate are a Gold Coast based charity who have been working in Mozambique for almost 20 years to develop education.

Executive Director, Dr Terry King, explains how a Year 1 class at Emmanuel College have thought of a new way to help The King of Kings school in Mazambique.

“They decided they could help the school and help the planet at the same and so they started collecting recyclable containers,” Said Dr Terry King.

The class discussed recycling and how recycling a container for 10 cents could help others.

“The 7 possibly 8 year olds who have a heart for recycling but also a heart for educating children,” he said.

Year 1P only started collecting at the end of last year and have already raised $1000.
