Key points
  • GrandParenthood features retired minister Ian Barnett who founded the National Grandparent Movement.
  • Episodes range from tips for praying with grandchildren, to the “value” of grandparents, dealing with distance, and “what’s it like to be a Boomer and get blamed for everything?”

Looking to do just that is the GrandParenthood Podcast.

A vital resource for equipping you in this important phase of family life, GrandParenthood features retired minister Ian Barnett who, in 2017, founded the National Grandparent Movement.

GrandParenthood is for all those who are grandparents or have a grandparent-type influence,” said Ian, who is on a mission to encourage grandparents to share their faith with the grandkids.

“It is for Christian grandparents, to think through who they are and the influence they have on the generations that follow us.

“While there are a number of podcasts on grandparenting, none exist on being a Christian grandparent who believes they still have something to say and share, especially with each other and our grandchildren.”
